cowboy bebop is one of the most famous anime series ever, directed by shinichiro watanabe, about a group of bounty hunters in the not-so-distant future. the world has changed a lot, become futuristic, where people use spaceships and live in colonies in outer space. jet black owns a kind of messed up ship, the bebop, in which he lives and works as a bounty hunter. his partner, spike spiegel, is a lazy, lanky man with a weird hairdo and who lives by the gun, always looking back at his dark past. enter faye valentine, a crook who cheats at a casino as a way of life. faye was actually frozen in a cryogenic chamber after she had an accident more than half a century before current times. she can't remember any of her past. she gets into a scuffle with the bounty hunters and in no time, the sex bomb finds herself a part of the bebop crew. along with ed, the 12-year-old genius computer hacker, and ein, the genetically-enhanced welsh corgi, they become some sort of weird dysfunctional family, but a family nonetheless, for the rest of the series.
spike and faye's relationship was very complicated. usually they fought like cats and dogs, but under all of that you could see that they (reluctantly, of course) did care about each other. they never progressed beyond shipmates and co-workers, though, and in the end spike's past and faye's pride stopped them from, perhaps, being more than that. they were never romantically involved, but many fans of the series have taken it upon themselves to use that fragile thread we got from the show to weave some great fanfiction stories about their relationship.
a fanlisting is, as described by its creator, janine, as a "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject." in this case, it's a list of fans of "paradigm of uncertainty".
this site was created by carla, and is part of the mighty network (*nudgenudge* please visit! ^.~ *nudgenudge*). this version is done in div layers, especially for 1024x760 resolution, but it should look good in smaller resolutions too. it probably looks its best in mozilla firefox. the phrase used in the title comes from "the real folk blues," the ending song for cowboy bebop, sung by mai yamane and SEATBELTS. it means "i just want to feel a real pleasure."
