about "only you"_____

in this episode, inuyasha-tachi arrive at a village that's been attacked by a bear demon. the leader of the village knows sango from when they were children-- and not only are they friendly, but he's in love with her! he proposes to sango, and she seems to appreciate the attention. this, of course, upsets sango and miroku's budding relationship. kagome sees this and decides to do something about it, basically stalking sango and the guy, and prodding miroku more than once into reacting against the new couple. miroku, however, appears very calm about the whole thing, for all he wishes is for sango to be happy, even if it's not with him. in the end, though, sango rejects the guy and keeps on traveling with inuyasha-tachi.

why "only you"?_____

well, my OTP in inuyasha is most definitely miroku/sango, and this is basically the best episode they have-- so deep, and so full of feeling, really. i can't count the number of times sango shows her feelings for miroku, usually through jealousy, him being the letcher that he is. miroku, however, doesn't really show his feelings so openly... and this was the most open he has been about them, really. it made me love this episode so much, because of that ^-^
